Bec + Ava | Engagement

Bec and Ava met through a friend which then turned into something more. We started the session at Red Beach, Bribie Island. It was a beautiful day with a magical sunset that made the scenery more of a romantic feel. Their love for each other was obvious and it was such a pleasure to have captured it.

It's suppose to be my job to make the clients laugh and show emotion, but i couldn't help but to bust out a laugh or two behind the lens. It was a "you had to be there" moment.

I loved how playful they were and i commend Ava for executing that lift. They were a fun couple to shoot which made my time with them a breeze and a half.

Driving up to Bribie Island was a treat in itself. I found so many beautiful places that i could take my clients for a session as there is not too many in brisbane.

As i was driving home, beside us was a beautiful sunset that i had to capture. I literally had 20 seconds before the sun set completely. In the end, i captured it in it's last moment of light.

Baby Ella's Christening

A few weeks ago i attended my first baby christening and it was an experience to remember. It was held in a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in Westend, Brisbane. I've never seen such detail, elegance and so many chandelier's in a church building before. I met Ella's mother, Jade Callianiotis through her business face book page Wedding Bling where she asked me if i would be interested in shooting her daughters christening. The ceremony started with her God Mother/Aunty holding her as the priest would chant some scripture, followed by the baptism of little Ella. The christening was followed by a little gathering at home with food, pink decorations (Which i loved) and speeches that ended the day with laughter. Here are a few pictures of the day.... Ashleigh Bailey | Maternity

LOVE | VIBRANT | STRONG are the three words that come to mind when i see a women carrying a child. Ashleigh is in her final week of pregnancy and cannot wait to hold her new baby boy. Soon to be older brother Quade is equally excited. We rushed for a great lit spot to capture the glow and vibrance of this maternity shoot of Ashleigh. Eventually, last minute we found a perfect place where we can see the sun setting behind the trees. Just another congrats on a blessing, as children are all blessings. Wishing you all the best - FLP

Stewart & Sandra | Married!

Stewart & Sandra have known eachother since high school but lost touch through time. In the beginning they both experienced life separately not knowing what could be in the future. They didn't know then what they know now but surely enough fate brought them together. They both gained step children who adore them both and seeing Sandra's eldest son Mark give his mother away and gave a speech about how happy he was to have Stewart in his life made the day more heart felt.

It was finally time to say the "I do's" - surrounded by friends and family - in Redland Bay - all the attention was on them, and when they did, it was like a happily ever after moment. Congratulations once again to one of the loveliest family i've met, and only wish the very best.
